Missus Smith provides customers with the opportunity to have just the bag they want. If you have a particular occasion to attend or an outfit to complete Missus Smith can work with you to design a bag of your choice, especially for you!

A piece of fabric, an idea in a customer's head or an outfit can inspire Missus Smith to create a one off handbag. The customer is consulted through out the process receiving sketches and fabric swatches to approve, a chance to view a mock up bag and in some cases a final fitting for strap length.

Bespoke bags can be embellished and dressed up to be everything you would ever want and can guarantee no one else will have the same bag as you!

Due to their one off nature, bespoke bags are more expensive with prices starting at £50. On occasion this price can be reduced if a customer is happy for Missus Smith to use the bag design to expand into a range for other potential customers.

Special Occasion bag

Missus Smith was approached to produce a bag to match an outfit for a wedding.

The customer had a beautiful dress that had been altered and the extra fabric had been kept. The fabric was lilac organza and gorgeously embroidered with flowers, beads and sequins.

The finished bag did not need to hold a lot , should be able to be worn over the shoulder and should make the most of the fabric. Because of the cut of the embroidered fabric a dagger shape was chosen for the bag and made up in a complimentary lilac satin. The embroidered organza was pleated into the opening of the bag and allowed to drape freely each side of the bag for added drama.

The interior of the bag was fully lined and much smaller than the outer dagger shape to ensure belongings did not get lost. The bag was fastened with a magnetic clasp and finished with crepe cord handles.

This particular bag cost £50.
